About This Camp
Chi Rho Camp (pronounced "KAI-RO," named after ancient symbols for Christ) is an awesome week for middle schoolers to have fun, make friends, and explore faith on a deeper level. This week-long camp meets the unique needs of early teens — high-energy activities, creative outlets, and meaningful discussions in a judgment-free, inclusive space. Junior & Chi Rho run the same week but operate as separate camps with separate staff.

What to Expect
Exciting Activities
Boogie boarding in the ocean, competitive volleyball and basketball, music, drama, crazy all-camp games, team challenges, talent shows, and maybe a sunrise beach walk for the early risers!
Creative Expression
Middle school is when kids start discovering who they are. Art projects, talent night, praise dance, journaling, and cabin skits give campers safe places to try new things and surprise themselves.
Faith & Life Talks
Real conversations about friendship, acceptance, making good decisions, and dealing with stress — and what the Bible has to say about it. No question is off limits. God's love is unconditional and real for them in their everyday lives.
Community & Belonging
A kindness zone where everyone has a place. Small group discussions, cabin devotions, and team-building create a strong Christian community. Many campers say they can truly be themselves here.
Near-Peer Role Models
Chi Rho campers are mentored by slightly older teen leaders and adult staff who really get what it's like to be a middle schooler — positive Christian role models who show that growing in faith can be cool.

All adult volunteers and staff undergo background checks.
First Aider on Staff
Staff with Medication Administration Certification on campus during camp.
Trained Counselors
Counselors complete training in safety, first aid, and youth mentoring.

Age-appropriate counselor-to-camper ratios for every program.
Communication
Parents receive updates and have direct contact with camp leadership.
